Gorylah Pictures was established in 2009 in Singapore by Zhao Wei Films and Infinite
Frameworks with the aim of creating an independent action/fantastical/horror label. The
company will produce films that capitalize on the uniqueness of South East Asian stories, beliefs and myths, and introduce these fascinating folklore to the rest of the world.
Gorylah Pictures is seeking out projects that can succeed commercially in their own domestic market, but also have potential to travel all over the world. Focusing on young, emerging talents from all over South East Asia, Gorylah Pictures is open to funding, co-investing, producing, marketing and distributing for genre film-makers.
Long time collaborators Eric Khoo and James Toh from Zhao Wei Films and Mike Wiluan from Infinite Frameworks will serve as Executive Producers under the Gorylah label, and together with the team at Gorylah, collaborate with filmmakers by providing the necessary support, guidance and expertise throughout the entire filmmaking process.
